Megan Vander Meer
American professional volleyball player who has built one of the longest overseas careers of any former Ferris State volleyball athlete. Early life
Vander Meer grew up in Hudsonville, Michigan, where she played club volleyball with Carpe Diem Volleyball for nearly a decade. During her youth career, she developed experience at multiple positions, including middle hitter, outside hitter, right-side hitter, and setter, establishing the versatility that would later define her professional career.
College career — Ferris State Bulldogs (2012–2015)
Vander Meer played four seasons at Ferris State University and was part of one of the most successful eras in program history. Throughout her collegiate career, she developed into a reliable attacker and all-around contributor while helping the Bulldogs compete nationally in NCAA Division II volleyball. Playing career
Following college, Vander Meer began her professional career in the Czech Republic, spending two seasons with PVK Přerov. The experience marked her transition from collegiate volleyball to the European professional game.
